Random Thoughts! Ha!
Ok, I don't know a whole lot about this blogging stuff and I started it in November! I am terrible, I know. I really don't have alot to talk about as far as mine and Matthew's lives are concerned. We just go to school and he works. I created my blog so that I could read other's. Some people have very inspiring blogs and they have been a blessing to Matthew and I. Anyway, we are getting ready to move this weekend over to our new condo here in Auburn. It has gotten a little easier being away from home. I think we will really enjoy this new place. Our apartment is right in front of the pool :) We have just got to finish painting it! I can't believe that we've been married nearly a year already! Which is wonderful because that means we only have a year of school left! Praise God! This semester has been a little easier with the exception of a crappy anatomy teacher. My goal is to finish x-ray school and then my modality, Radiation Therapy. I really enjoy what I'm going to school for, I just don't like the school. SU is very unorganized. Anyway- Easter was great. We enjoyed spending time in Opp with my family. I will be SO glad when we are back down that way! I hope everyone else had a blessed Easter. Have a good week!

My first
So, I am really new to this sort of thing...I guess for my first post I will just tell you about Matthew and me. I graduated high school in 2007 from Opp High and Matthew graduated in 2005 from Straughn High. We met on May 6, 2006 through Hannah Chesteen Powell. On July 11, 2006 we knew that we loved each other and would spend the rest of our lives making one another happy. On November 20, 2007, Matthew proposed to me on the lawn at Troy University. We were engaged for a year and a half and finally got married on May 23, 2009. We had a small family wedding in Pigeon Forge, TN and it was beautiful! We are both born again Christians and try live our life and marriage for God alone. He is our rock and the only thing getting us through up here in Auburn. We are living in Auburn to finish school and miss our family and small town more than anything. Matthew could graduate in December 2010, but is going to wait till May 2011 and graduate when I do. We plan to move home asap after that. I hope to get a job in x-ray and finish my Radiation Therapy degree online, while working. Matthew and I love to fish and hunt. Yes, I said I do too. My Daddy taught me how to hunt and fish from the time I could walk. I enjoy it as much as Matthew and Daddy. I also enjoy riding horses and barrel racing. I have gotten the "fever" to want to compete again. The ONLY thing standing in my way is school. We also LOVE Alabama Football...ROLL TIDE ROLL..and watching my brother, Jerad, play for the Bobcats. I also love to shop (when I have a little cash) with my Momma and go to the beach. That's another thing I miss...the Beach. Matthew and I have a great family and love them dearly. If it wasn't for my Momma and Daddy and their support, I don't know what we would do. We are so ready for Wednesday and Thanksgiving to get here so we can see them all. I sure do miss my Nanny. I spend alot of my time praying for her. It's been 14 months since we lost my Dada to cancer and I don't see it getting any easier for any of us for a while. My Dada was a great, Godly man that never failed to make you laugh. I know he is with our Lord and I lone for the day that I see Jesus' face and get to hug my Dada again and hear his laugh. I am sorry, I am rambling...Anywho, I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving and do not forget to thank GOD for all of the blessings he has given you. God Bless (Maybe I will get better at this blogging, in time) =) This is the latest picture I have of us. My Halie Bug was in a pageant the other week. She looked so pretty and we were so proud!
